Walking Inside a Dream … Till My Death
It’s been some time since I wrote a poem. It was about time I did.
—

On those stones I walked alone,
bearing only the name that I’d been given.
I walked until I reached the shore,
of the life that I’ve been living.
Staring into breaking waves
memories of broken days
and all the times that went away.
Reflecting on my life.
On that bridge I walked alone,
staring down at rocks below.
I dreamed at last I was back home,
in the company of those I’ve known.
Hanging on a steel beam
separating life from dream
listening to the running stream.
Reflecting on my life.
On those stones I lay alone,
motionless and without breath.
And now at last I’ve found my home,
Reflecting on my death.
A Fire Protects Me
To Ish

While the rest of this world may be so hateful,
for one thing on earth am I ever grateful
Though this place is dark and the future bland,
this brilliant flame I hold in my hand
I treasure this light and its rarity I value,
for its warmth has proven to be through and through
Close to my heart I hold this bright heat
Without it, I would be cold and incomplete
This flickering light of which I speak,
which gives me strength when I am weak,
gives my life meaning, its only goal
for this flame is the fire of your soul
When all I want is for my world to end,
I know you’ll ignite me again, my friend
We Are Still Friends?

I was cold and hurting
lost out in the night
wandering and searching
for heaven’s light
I saw the night sky clearing
when you spread your rainbow wings
But little did I know
what joy you would bring
From that moment on
a friendship did start
you kissed away my tears
and sheltered my heart
I bless the day God
sent her from above
But then I grew fearful
for I had fallen in love
I told you this feeling
and what did you say?
You said you liked our friendship
and that’s how it would stay
I cried for a friendship I thought I lost
But then felt your warm, gentle hand
You then whispered in my ear
that by my side you’ll forever stand
Thanks a lot, “rukia”
Treasured Friendship

Our friendship is soothing,
Like a warm gentle breeze,
A soft gentle rustle
Thru the leaves of the trees…
Our friendship can bloom,
Like a beautiful spring day,
Yours and mine did,
In such a beautiful way…
Our friendship brings rainbows
After the storm.
It appears in the winter
To keep our hearts warm…
Our friendship withstands hardships,
As the winter wind blows,
Like a candle in the window
With its warm soft glow.
I treasure our friendship everyday,
As you are an awesome friend.

Send Her an Angel …

Please send my friend an angel.
Send her one of mine;
A loving and caring one,
The best that you can find.
Please send my friend an angel,
And trust her with its care;
Someone or something for her to love,
And to always be there.
Please send my friend an angel,
One to help her fill her days;
With hope, love, and laughter,
And the warmth of sunshine rays.
Please send my friend an angel -
You know she gave me one of mine.
Please send her down an angel;
A true friend like her is hard to find.
Dedicated to my friend, Xarah =^_^=
God bless her, she’s going through troubling times.
Take Flight On the Wings of a Butterfly
A poem written for an very close friend of mine, to which every second with her brightens my whole life.
Thank you for being my friend

Your friendship is special
Like the flowers that bloom,
Or when a butterfly emerges
From within its cocoon…
You remind me of that butterfly,
Loving and free,
Bright and colorful,
For the world to see…
We will share sunshine and rainbows;
Sometimes, the rain and the snow;
We’ll stand together through it,
While the cold winds blow…
When the time is right,
We won’t stop to ask “Why?”
Our friendship will take flight
On the wings of a butterfly…
